Meet Dr. Howell
Dr. Kay Howell is a growth-oriented and strategic leader with twenty years of combined experience leading multinational teams, creating corporate compliance programs, and implementing innovative solutions to reduce costs, control risks, and increase revenues for numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Kay believes in giving back to the community and frequently speaks to organizations to discuss the platform of community development, creating ideas on how to work with the local community to forge productive new paths. She is a committed leader who is Ready to Listen, Learn, and Lead with the people. Ms. Howell is ready to listen to the concerns of the community and then act. Kay leads this organization in working with the local community, assisting the homeless and low-income Atlanta citizen to become “interview-ready”.
Ms. Howell graduated from The University of Georgia, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science. She received her first Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern in Computer Information Science. Kay received an Executive Master of Business Administration from Purdue University. She also achieved a Doctorate of Business Administration from DePaul University.

Why did I want to be SD-14 State Senator?
I am a process improvement expert. I have created multiple successful process improvement initiatives for both State and Federal governmental clients. Since I live in district 14 (Alpharetta) and I love it here, I believe it was important to bring my skills to my home and neighbors – listening and being the leader they can count on.
